Welcome to our website.

The Basildon and Billericay French Circle meets on certain Friday evenings, 

from September to July (see programme) at

Billericay Arts Centre (‘The Fold’), 72 Laindon Road, Billericay CM12 9LD.  

We start at 8pm, after an opportunity to have a drink and a chat (in French or English).   Our talks are in French, by professional lecturers who are predominantly native speakers.  We receive support from the Alliance Française de Londres. 

For the season 2023-24 we intend to hold some meetings on Zoom and some at The Fold - please see our programme for details -   

Annual membership is currently £30, with visitors paying £5 an evening.  

We can provide details for online bank transfers.  

We welcome people with all levels of French, and all our talks are illustrated.  

Often there are audio or video clips as well, all of which makes it most enjoyable.
